Abstract
The story of prophet Yūsuf is comprehensively described and elaborated in the Holy Qur’an. This thus shows the uniqueness of the rhetorics and aesthetics of the Holy Qur’an in manifesting guidance-related matters. This is reflected in the fabulous character of prophet Yūsuf who showed an unprecedented remarkable example in being honest، sincere، pious in dealing with people and in inviting them to believe in Allah (SWT) at times of adversity and affliction. This study thus encourages all Muslim scholars and preachers to adopt the methods and strategies used by prophet Yūsuf. Some of the great lessons illustrated in surah Yūsuf are that Muslims should be very patient to obtain fruitful results، as Allah (SWT) will eventually answer their prayers. The story also insightfully shows and suggests solutions about significantly political، social and economic issues that the entire humanity are in need of.
