Issues In The Implementation of The Talaqqi Al-Quran Program In Malaysia

Abstract
The system of Quranic education via talaqqi with sanad has been developing alongside Islamic education and has been gaining increasing attention from communities in Malaysia. Nowadays, there are various parties involved in organising programmes and courses for talaqqi of the al-Quran with sanad, the execution of which has caused several arising issues. This article will therefore be addressing these issues by firstly examining the history of the education of talaqqi of the al-Quran during the time of Rasulullah SAW, followed by observing the concept of talaqqi of the al-Quran with sanad and its importance, as well as the issues in the execution of it in Malaysia. Using a qualitative approach, the research data was collected and analysed descriptively. The results show that the execution of talaqqi of the al-Quran with sanad needs improvement and [1]should be more effectively implemented. This study will suggest several methods of improvement for the execution of talaqqi of the al-Quran with sanad in Malaysia.
