PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI MULTIMEDIA TERHADAP KEBERKESANAN PENGAJARAN DAN PEMBELAJARAN DALAM SISTEM PENDIDIKAN DI MALAYSIA

Abstract

The education system in Malaysia has undergone educational reforms implemented to address the weaknesses inherent in the education system as well as to meet the needs of current needs and future needs. Thus, Information Technology and Multimedia have brought about many changes in the field of education and are becoming increasingly important in the development of the world of education. In this regard, this concept paper aims to detail the use of Multimedia Technology used in the field of education in Malaysia. Among them are in the curriculum, pedagogy as well as teaching and learning materials. Teaching and learning methods need to change in line with the development of cyber technology and access to the growing internet. This study is expected to be a platform to build the confidence of educators to develop Multimedia Technology-based teaching aids in order towards 21st Century Education. Therefore, further studies should be increased in stages to encourage the use of Multimedia Technology in the process of teaching and learning for specific subjects in schools.
