Abstract

Despite growing awareness of the importance of design thinking in education, formal classroom implementation still faces obstacle. Teacher lack the knowledge and skills especially design thinking competence, required to design based learning. The goal of this studywas to identify obstacle factor for implementation of design-based learning using Fuzzy Delphi Method. The data was gathered using questionnaire. Verification is done by 30 expert teachers. The study found that expert consensus on five of eight elements is more than 75% with threshold value (d) ≤ 0.2. The result revealed that the lack of guidelines and profesionalisme development course are some of the obstacle faced by teacher.
