Abstract
Originated from Shandong in 1922, the World Red Swastika Society established its branches in Hong Kong in 1931, and in Singaopore in 1936, respectively. These two branches had contributed greatly to the development of Overseas Dao and charitable activities. This paper explores the establishment and development of the Southeast Asian branches of the World Red Swastika Society and discusses their roles in the evolution of Overseas Dao and charitable activities.
