Abstract

Islamic values are the essence of the message brought by Islam to humanity. They represent a set of standards and concepts aimed at developing both the individual and society, guiding their behaviors towards constructive and sustainable social interaction. Given the increasing challenges faced by today's youth and the plethora of external influences surrounding them, the significance of instilling these values becomes paramount, serving as a moral compass throughout their lives. This study aims to conduct a literature review on the "concept of values from a Qur'anic perspective." Within this research, we will shed light on Islamic values, their significance, understanding, sources, and how they contribute to building a socially responsible and aware generation. The research also delves into the indicators of these values and the theories interpreting them. Following an in-depth exploration and contemplation of various theories related to values, the study concludes that values, from a Qur'anic viewpoint, play a pivotal role in directing and shaping human behavior and decisions. In the Qur'an, values are central to the lives of individuals and communities; they are not mere theoretical concepts but rather the foundation upon which daily behaviors and choices are based. Furthermore, the findings underscore the importance of values in shaping human life and guiding it towards what is perceived as valuable and significant, all from a Qur'anic perspective.
