  • I confirm that the research meets all research and publishing ethical guidelines, including adherence to the legal requirements of the country in which the study was conducted, where appropriate.
  • I confirm that the manuscript is an original paper that is being submitted solely to this journal and has not been published as well as neither submitted nor in press elsewhere.
  • I confirm that I have obtained all necessary publishing permissions for third party materials, e.g., for images used (where appropriate).
  • I confirm the paper and its related files have been prepared in accordance with the journal's style and formatting requirements as described in the Authors’ Guide.
  • I confirm that all co-authors consent to the submission and publication of the paper.
  • I acknowledge that as corresponding author, my name, email address, affiliation, and other contact details the publication might require will be used for the regular operations of the publication.

Authors’ Guide

Terms of Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are not currently under consideration by any other publisher. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the manuscript's publication has been approved by all the other co-authors and all necessarily related institutions and funding agencies.

Manuscripts should be submitted by the corresponding author of the manuscript through the Open Journal Systems (OJS). Only electronic Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) files can be submitted through the OJS. Please refer to the Type of Articles for the appropriate format for the manuscript. The submitting author takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review.

 

Type of Articles

Full-Length Articles

Full-length articles report original studies are expected to include sections on the Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. The total length should be between 5,000 to 7000 words excluding the abstract, references, and appendices.

Short Communication/ Case Studies

Short communications should be similar to a research article, but with shorter sections on Materials and Methods and Discussion. The total length should be about 2,000 words not including the abstract, references, and appendices.

Opinion Papers

Opinion papers report original and personal views on subjects of particular interest to JRMG. Authors should outline and craft selected arguments by bringing original and ground-breaking ideas and imaginative research solutions. They should be based on published data and should not merely expand on the opinions by others. An opinion paper should be about 3,000 words with a maximum of 10 references.

The proposed structure of an opinion paper is as follows:

  • Introduction to the topic.
  • Presentation of innovative and original hypotheses, and discussion of published data.
  • Analysis of the impact of the proposed hypotheses and of the target audience.

 

Submission Checklist

The following files in .doc or .docx file format must be submitted through OJS:

  • A title page file with the full title of the paper and the names, affiliations and ORCID of all authors and co-authors.
  • A full copy of the manuscript with the title, abstract, keywords (up to seven), main text with figures, tables, acknowledgements, references, and appendices (if relevant)
  • A blinded or anonymised copy of the manuscript. Remove ALL authors’ information and acknowledgements from the original copy of the manuscript. The manuscript should be saved with all authors’ information removed.
  • List of potential reviewers (minimum 3).

 

Manuscript formatting

Text

- Single-spaced with a 12-point font ( Times New Roman)

-Use of italics font, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses)

Subdivision - numbered sections

It is recommended that you divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Any subsection may be given a brief heading. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.

Figures and tables

Authors should place all figures and tables within the text at the appropriate points. All figures and tables should be numbered and cited in the paper in consecutive order. Figures should have sufficient resolution or quality of at least 300 dpi.Captions for Figures should appear at the bottom of the Figure (e.g. Figure 1. Title of the figure).

Every table must have a descriptive title above it (e.g., Table 2. Title of the table) and if numerical measurements are given, the units should be included in the column heading. Vertical lines should not be used.

Title Page and Authors’ Information

The following information must be included in the Title Page.

  • Title: Should be concise.
  • Authors’ names: Include the names of authors in the order the names should be published.
  • Affiliation: Include the full affiliation and mailing and email addresses of all authors (department/ faculty/institution, city, and country).
  • Provide the 16-digit ORCID of all the authors.
  • Indicate the corresponding author (CA) with an asterisk*.

 

Outline of Full-Length Articles

The manuscript should contain the following:

Full Title

Abstract

The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the research, the principal results, and major conclusions. The abstract should be self-contained and citation-free and should not exceed 250 words. 

Keywords

The authors should provide up to 7 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid for example, “and,” “of” etc.). Separate each keyword with a semi-colon (;).

Introduction

This section should be concisely written with no subheadings.

Materials and Methodology

This part should contain sufficient detail so that all procedures can be repeated. It can be divided into subsections. Provide references for previously published methods.

Results and Discussion

This section may be divided by subheadings or may be combined. Results should be clear and concise.

Conclusions

This should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work highlighting their importance and relevance.

Acknowledgements

All acknowledgements (if any) should be included at the very end of the paper before the references and should include supporting grants. This section should be removed for the blinded manuscript.

References

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. Only include references that have been cited within the text. Avoid references that identify the authors in the blinded manuscript.

References should be prepared according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 7th edition).
